 How to make Satay Recipe?

Here's a recipe for Satay:


Ingredients:

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Wooden sticks,absorbed water for no less than 30 minutes
  • Peanut sauce, for serving

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, vegetable oil, brown sugar, lime juice, fish sauce, curry powder, turmeric powder, garlic powder, and ground ginger.
  2. Add chicken strips to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread chicken strips onto wooden skewers.
  5. Grill skewers for 5-7 minutes per side, or until chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. Serve with peanut sauce for dipping. Enjoy!

Note: Satay can also be made with beef, pork, or shrimp. Adjust the cooking time accordingly.
