How to make pakoras at home?
Pakoras are
a well known Pakistani and indian snake made by profound searing hitter covered
vegetables or different fixings.Here ias the full recipe of pakora:
Ingredients:
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Water, as needed
- Oil, for deep-frying
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine gram
flour, red chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, baking powder,
and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add water to the
mixture while stirring continuously to form a smooth batter. The batter
should be thick enough to coat the onion slices.
- Add the thinly sliced onions to
the batter and mix well until the onions are coated with the batter.
- Heat oil in a profound container
over medium intensity. Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the
onion-batter mixture into the hot oil.
- Fry the pakoras until they
become brilliant brown and fresh. Remove them from the oil with a slotted
spoon and drain excess oil on a paper towel.
- Serve hot with chutney or sauce
of your choice.
