Here's a recipe for Bread Pakora!
Ingredients:
- 6-8 slices of bread
- 1 cup of gram flour (besan)
- 1/4 tsp of baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp of garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil for deep frying
- Coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add gram
flour, baking powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, turmeric
powder, and salt to taste.
- Gradually add water to the
mixing bowl to create a thick batter.Blend well guarantee there are no
knots in the batter.
- Heat oil in a profound griddle
over medium intensity.
- Cut the bread slices into
halves.
- Take one bread slice and dip it
into the batter, making sure the bread is coated on both sides.
- Carefully place the bread slice
into the hot oil and fry until it turns golden brown.
- Repeat the similar process with
the excess bread cuts and hitter.
- Once all the bread slices are
fried, remove them from the oil and place them onto a paper towel to
remove any excess oil.
- Serve the Bread Pakora hot with
chutney of your choice and garnish with coriander leaves.
