How to make chicken manchurian recipe?
Here is a
recipe for Chicken Manchurian chinese indian and pakistani.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into
little pieces
- 1/4 cup cornflour
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 capsicum, sliced
- 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp red chili sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- Spring onions, chopped for
garnish
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix cornflour,
all-purpose flour, ginger paste, garlic paste, egg, and salt to form a
smooth batter.
- Add chicken pieces to the batter
and mix well, making sure each piece is coated properly.
- Heat oil in a wok or profound
skillet over medium intensity.
- Fry the chicken pieces in the
oil until they turn golden brown and crispy. Channel on a paper towel and
keep to the side.
- In another pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil
over medium heat. Add cut onion and capsicum and sauté briefly.
- Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce,
red chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, and water. Blend well and let it reach
boiling point.
- Add the fried chicken pieces to
the sauce and stir well until the chicken pieces are coated with the
sauce.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the
sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with chopped spring
onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
