 How to make chicken manchurian recipe?

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless chicken, cut into little pieces
  • 1/4 cup cornflour
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 capsicum, sliced
  • 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp red chili sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Spring onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix cornflour, all-purpose flour, ginger paste, garlic paste, egg, and salt to form a smooth batter.
  2. Add chicken pieces to the batter and mix well, making sure each piece is coated properly.
  3. Heat oil in a wok or profound skillet over medium intensity.
  4. Fry the chicken pieces in the oil until they turn golden brown and crispy. Channel on a paper towel and keep to the side.
  5. In another pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil over medium heat. Add cut onion and capsicum and sauté briefly.
  6. Add tomato ketchup, soy sauce, red chili sauce, vinegar, sugar, and water. Blend well and let it reach boiling point.
  7. Add the fried chicken pieces to the sauce and stir well until the chicken pieces are coated with the sauce.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken is cooked through.
  9. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
