Chapli Kabab Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef (or mutton)
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 1 medium tomato, grated
- 1 large potato, grated
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup mint leaves, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Cooking spray or oil, for brushing the
kababs
Instructions:
1.
In a large mixing
bowl, combine the ground beef, grated onion, grated tomato, grated potato,
chopped coriander and mint leaves, chopped green chilies, red chili powder,
turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.

Combine
everything as one all around joined.the combination ought to be thick and
tacky.
3.
Divide the
mixture into 8-10 portions and shape each portion into a patty about 3-4 inches
in diameter and 1/2 inch thick.
4.
Heat the oil in
the huge skillet over medium intensity.
5.
Once the oil is
hot, place the kababs in the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes on each side,
or until browned and crispy.
6.
Brush the kababs
with a little cooking spray or oil to keep them from drying out while cooking.
7.
Serve the chapli
kababs hot with mint chutney or your favorite dipping sauce.
